Finally, I got hold of my BDJ Planner 2008! I just got it today and it looks so fabulous! The revamped design is a far cry from the last one, and boasts of sleeker dimensions, a more manageable layout, better discount coupons, a bevy of new features and an included string bookmark tethered into the planner! Sporting a longer and narrower design, the BDJ Planner 2008 looks more elegant and executive. The feel of the outer cover is also very polished, unlike the glossy appeal of the former BDJ planner. The front cover artwork is also very classy! (Forgive the flowery background, that is our sofa.)
The layout of the BDJ Planner 2008 has also been changed but still took on account the tangible factor of time. With portions for "urgent tasks to finish", "important stuff to start", "personal treats to enjoy", "errands to run", and MIT's (Most Important Tasks) in every week, planning your seven-day periods will surely be a breeze! The time slots have also been changed to a more manageable set-up. Days are now segregated as morning, lunch, afternoon and dinner.
And of course, the most obvious addition to the planner—the pink bead and heart string bookmark! I think this is very cute since I love simple additions like these. ^_^
I do have a major irk about the new design though. The spiral design would have been a great revision, but it is too small to hold all the planner's pages. The planner looks cramped and there is the tendency for it to be ripped out, if the holder is not very careful with flipping the pages. Turning from page to page requires utmost care since the papers tend to get stuck in the spiral and all. But I think it would loosen a bit when it becomes used all the time. It's just bothering that the most important factor, which is space, has been poorly thought of. But overall, I like the BDJ Power Planner 2008 more than last year's and for any other planner for that matter! Here are more pics!
